Municipal Court

As of April 1, the Court will no longer process credit card payments over the phone.  To make a payment you can visit or come to the Court windows from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

The Arvada Municipal Court handles traffic infractions and criminal citations, as well as municipal code violations and parking citations that are issued in the City of Arvada.

Remember that even if a citation is written within the City of Arvada, it may be handled by Jefferson County Courts or Adams County Courts.

The Arvada Municipal Court can provide record checks for citations that have been written in the City.

Submitting Court Ordered Documentation

If you have been ordered to complete Community Service, a class, treatment, therapy, etc., please send your documents via email or by mail.

To Request Discovery

The discovery request form can be submitted online and is also available from the Court. The form must be completed and given to the Clerk of Court with the appropriate fee. Fees for discovery, payable by cash, check, or credit card, are $10 for ordinance violations and $2 for traffic violations. Discovery is provided by the City Attorney's Office by email, pickup or U.S. Mail. It may take up to 7 days to receive your discovery.
